This week
What needs your attention, and where to go next.
Schedule
Who works where, day by day. Click a day to assign someone — one person, one job per day, so nobody can be double-booked.
Everyone on the roster for these two weeks: hours, drive time, overtime, cost, and a flag when someone is unassigned, in overtime, or over the limits.
Hours actually worked (QuickBooks Time) next to what was scheduled. Variance = actual − scheduled. Days worked with nothing scheduled, and scheduled days with no time, are flagged.
By job
By person and day
Jobs
Every job with its contract, cost to date, projected margin and this fortnight's labor. Open one for the bid, progress and EAC, commitments, change orders, billing and check-ins.
Estimating
Drop the bid in, map every line to the cost codes the field will use, distribute labor across phases, and publish it as the job's budget when it is awarded.
Cost code generator
Say what the money bought, get the code. Phase — cost type. The same tool as costcodes.acdcpowergroup.com, reading the live list.
Accounting
QuickBooks is the general ledger and payroll; everything job-level lives here. Tie the ledger to the cost codes first, then the WIP, then send QuickBooks its summarized entries.
Settings
Pay rules and cost codes, the people on the roster and what they earn, who can do what, and a log of every change.
Anyone on the domain can sign in and view. pm creates and schedules their own jobs (set their crew label so "my crew" works). estimator builds estimates and publishes them as job budgets. hr maintains the roster and pay rules and can enter receipts on any job, but does not schedule. admin does everything.
